Pastor's Corner

Check back often for thoughts from our Pastor!

 Beloved,

Answers to our prayers often come in unexpected ways. We pray for a certain virtue, which is a trait valued as being good, only to be left with waiting for an answer. God seldom delivers Christian virtues all wrapped in a package ready for you to use. Being of good virtue is not like microwave food, which becomes instant dinner! Rather, God puts us in situations where we can develop those wanted virtues and with His help, we become the Christians we want to be. Henry Ward Beecher once told of a woman who prayed for patience and God sent her a poor cook to teach her patience. Have you ever prayed for virtue? Remember the best answer to prayer may not be sent to you the way you expect; rather the answer may lie in the vision. Possessing Christian virtues requires faith, hope, and love. Are you of good Christian virtue?

Bless you, Pastor.
